Solo Flight: OMF Literature's Treat for Single Ladies

Since I started watching The 700 Club Asia in 2011, I started to browse the shelves of my favorite bookstore for OMF Literature Books. Aside from the vast variety on different topics, prices are very much affordable on most books. What I love about OMF Literature is that most of their books are readable. What I mean is that their authors choice of words are excellent to those who are not in to reading. Reading sometimes make others feel a bit boring especially if the words would make their nose bleed... Great job!

At my age, 27, people are already questioning why am I still single as of the moment... They had been asking me if I have someone very special. There is a different feeling when friends and relatives would one-by-one post their wedding pics on facebook. This feeling really made me feel annoyed... Some would say the alarming stage is hitting me... Others frankly says,"You have to hurry... or else the train will leave you..."Those are the days that I would really cling on to God's promises to me... And indeed, an OMF Lit. book was featured entitled: Solo Flight by Grace D. Chong and Francie Castaneda- Lacanilao. I did not hesitate to buy one for me...

The cover is so... light with a pink font color... It was the word, "Solo". Wow... It really hit me. The book is really a true-to-life story of Ms. Francie Castaneda Lacanilao who is one of the authors along with Grace Dacanay Chong whom I know is a children's book writer.

Ms. Francie is a teacher like me... I love to have a common ground with her. Her story unfolds a lady who got married on her early 50's... It was not an easy situation for Ms. Francie but with God'd grace, nothing is impossible. It just reminds me that waiting in God's time is never in vain.

If you think it is only about Teacher Francie's story, you are wrong. It is also a compilation of different women holding different stories of how they live a single life in God's grace and will...
I was so inspired with the different stories of women whom the society laughs at. As if you are very poor and lonely being in the single life stigma... But this book proved me wrong...

What I like about this book is that it is like a letter your friend wrote for you. The words are so simple but it truly gives us a direct reading experience that will surely inspire those who are on solo flight... The authors are really generous to share to the readers how God direct anybody even in solo flight... The truth is, single women don't go solo... our Lord is within us...

I love this handy book very much from OMF Literature....I hope you will have one too...
